Today I heard the most....sad thing I have heard in years. While speaking with a customer who's Internet had been down due to technical problems I had this following conversation:

"I haven't had Internet, for the past two days. I want it back up now!"

"I actually am showing here that you have spoken with our techs and that they have someone coming out tomorrow to fix the issues that has been occurring. "

"Fine, but they better fix it tomorrow, my children have had to go to the library to research for their school world."



IN CASE YOU DON'T SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE ABOVE CONVERSATION, let me highlight it below.

When did going to the library become a bad thing? When did opening a book become something that is frowned upon in this modem world? I was actually sick of this woman and wanted to demand the answers from her, but sadly could only say how sorry I was, and give her a CREDIT!!!!

I'm really sick of the modem world on the most part, people in this day in age are just...I don't even have a word for it, but I know that the world is backwards and upside down if reading a book is a crime against nature.
